Neighbourhood Policing Teams throughout Pembrokeshire are keen to hear from anyone interested in setting up a Neighbourhood Watch scheme. Co-ordinators are needed to set up Neighbourhood Watch schemes throughout the Pembrokeshire division. Neighbourhood Watch is considered one of the best crime prevention schemes ever. It involves residents in a certain area working together to combat crime. PC Sue Blacklaw-Jones, of the Community Safety Partnership, said: "Neighbourhood Watch is really about looking out for your neighbours and them for you. "A co-ordinators role involves them being first point of contact for both the police and the residents. "It is a voluntary role, but police are on hand to support them and hopefully they will find contributing to making their community safer rewarding." Anyone interested in setting up a scheme can contact their local Neighbourhood Policing Team on 0845 330 2000.
