Sunday, October 26, saw Tenby and District Angling Club's annual open fishing competition on the beaches of Amroth, Saundersfoot and Tenby's North and South.
Some 271 anglers fished the match, travelling from as far away as Weston-Super-Mare and Manchester.
Conditions on the day were near perfect, with a light north-easterly wind and plenty of sunshine, although a blow in the week previous to stir the water up a bit would have been welcome.

Results were as follows: 1. Howard Griffiths with a Conger Eel of 3.96 kg; 2. G. Perry with a Conger Eel of 2.585 kg; 3. Steve De Bruin with a Dogfish of .925 kg; 4. M. Pearsey with a Dogfish of .810 kg.
