CONGRATULATIONS to former member of Tenby Sea Cadets, Peter Bailey, who passed out as an operator's mechanic at HMS Raleigh, Plymouth, on Friday.
There was also an additional honour for Peter, who was also a member of Tenby Air Training Corps in his younger days, when he was awarded the Top Marksman award out of all the divisions passing out that day.
A former pupil of Tenby Junior and Greenhill Schools, 17-year-old Peter joined the Royal Navy last October.
The son of Susan Dillon, of Tenby, and Michael Bailey, of Saundersfoot, he will shortly be moving on to Portsmouth to complete his seamanship training.
