Oak Furniture Land, the UK’s largest retailer of solid hardwood furniture, donated a two-foot lobster cake to the Pembrokeshire Federation of Angling Coaches (PFAC) at the official opening of its first store in Havefordwest.
Oak Furniture Land commissioned the amazing confectionery creation to show support for the PFAC and the work they do to support fishing in Pembrokeshire.
The oversized Lobster cake will take centre stage, at the PFAC’s fishing workshops for children and disabled adults during the Pembrokeshire Fish Week Festival.
Nica Prichard, from the PFCA said: “I was thrilled to take part in the official opening of the new Oak Furniture Land Haverfordwest store. The cake donation is a wonderful gesture to support and highlight the sport of angling and the coaching we do in the local community. As part of the Pembrokeshire Fish Week Festival, we are hosting a fishing workshops on the June 28 and 29 for children and for adults with disabilities. The cake will take centre stage at the event. The amazing cake sculpture was designed by Annabel De Vetten-Peterson, of Conjurers Kitchen and Cakebomb. Annabel is famous for her realistic cake creations.

• The oversized lobster cake is over two-foot long
• The lobster is made out of marshmallow rice krispie treats with chocolate truffle and chocolate ganache and covered in luxury fondant icing
• The lobster is lying on a chopping board which is a vanilla sponge cake with chocolate ganache and covered in luxury fondant icing
• The lobster cake contains 2.5kg of chocolate and 1kg of marshmallows
• The lobster cake took three days to create
