The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority is to consult on proposals to invest in a package of new initiatives aimed at supporting the growth of the wider visitor economy in Pembrokeshire.
At a meeting of the National Park Authority last week, members considered options for the delivery of its tourism services and voted unanimously to begin the consultation process.
The process will also consider the future of the National Park Authority Visitor Centres in Tenby and Newport. Public meetings will be held to allow interested parties to share their views, while people can also comment by contacting the authority via phone, email or post.
James Parkin, the authority’s director of delivery and discovery, said: “The way people access tourism information has changed significantly over recent years and Members have agreed to consult on proposals to invest in a range of new initiatives aimed at meeting the future needs of visitors to Pembrokeshire.
“The authority is always looking for opportunities to improve the way its services are delivered and we welcome views on these proposals.”
To have your say, please send your views by October 31 to [email protected] call 01646 624800 or write to Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, Llanion Park, Pembroke Dock, SA72 6DY.
The public meetings will be held at the De Valence Pavilion, Tenby, on Tuesday, October 11, from 6 - 8 pm, and at Newport Memorial Hall on Tuesday, October 18, also from 6 - 8 pm.
