With their match against Newcastle Emlyn called off, Tenby United Seconds managed to arrange a friendly with Haverfordwest Seconds last Saturday.
With the United's first team game against Cefneithin also having been postponed by the visitors, the team which travelled to the Plascrug ground included a sprinkling of senior team players, seeking to stay sharp.
Neverthless, it turned into a real hard game, with play going from end to end and the lead changing several times, before Tenby eventually scored the final try to win 30-28.
