A Narberth woman has been remanded in custody after being accused of arson.
Twenty-six-year-old Gina Tranter, of Redstone Court, appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates court, on Wednesday, to face a charge of committing arson with intent to endanger life or regardless of whether life was endangered.
The incident which took place at Haverfordwest's Premier Inn on Sunday, saw 133 guests evacuated from the hotel, after a blaze occurred at an exterior fire door at the premises.
Despite entering no plea to the arson charge, the defendant pleaded guilty to three further offences - taking a vehicle without consent; driving a vehicle without appropriate insurance; and failing to provide a sample when requested by police.
Magistrates committed the arson charge to Swansea crown court, where a preliminary hearing will be held on Tuesday.
Prosecutor, Mr. Vaughan Pritchard-Jones, made a request to magistrates that the defendant be remanded in custody until the crown court hearing.
