Pembrokeshire County Council has confirmed that essential road maintenance work is due to start in Narberth on Monday, February 12. The work, which is being carried out by Alan Griffiths contractors on behalf of Pembrokeshire County Council, is expected to take three weeks. Town residents will be notified shortly about the resurfacing work via a comprehensive letter drop. It will start in High Street before moving on to Spring Gardens, St. James Street, the Narberth Bridge area and Moorfield Road. The one-way traffic order around the town will be revoked for the duration. Although some roads will be closed while work is being carried out, disruption will be kept to a minimum and a one-way traffic system temporarily installed wherever possible. A spokesman said that the resurfacing work was essential structural maintenance and once completed would substantially improve the appearance of the town.
