Officials at Narberth RFC have slammed a group of ‘mindless young teenagers’ after CCTV captured wanton vandalism at the rear of the club’s grandstand.

The youths were seen kicking in the rear door of the changing rooms. They then entered the premises and caused damage to one toilet blocking the drains with unused full toilet rolls.

“Luckily the CCTV cameras recorded the activity and the matter is now in the hands of the local police station and a crime report is being prepared,” said a spokesperson for Narberth RFC.

“Committee members have been able to help identify these foolish youngsters, two of whom are believed to be brothers, and steps are in hand to contact various parents to raise their awareness.

“The vandals are known to be from the vicinity.

“The police will be visiting the local housing estates and checking the whereabouts of certain individuals.”

Narberth RFC?are asking neighbours to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the club on 01834 860462 and the police will be contacted again to follow up.
