Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru have thanked Narberth’s Dragon Inn for funds collected at the public house.
£49.10 was donated to the collection box at the establishment, which is in the process of being taken over by Suzannah Palmer and her sister Joanna Cavill, whose family has been affected by prostate cancer.
“We are very grateful for these donations to enable the work of Prostate Cymru, particularly in Pembrokeshire, where raising the awareness and understanding of prostate health is an important part of our aims. We wish Suzannah and Joanna every success with their new venture,” said Simon Moffett from Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru.
The Dragon Inn will be organising an awareness event soon and taking part in the Big Breakfast in November.
If you wish to make a donation, the collection box is back on the bar in the pub.
If you want a collecting box to put somewhere or an awareness talk, please contact Prostate Cymru at www.prostatecymru.com or phone 02920 340029
