Last Sunday saw the ladies knockout final take place at Kilgetty RAOB between Ann Marie Owen (Greenbridge), left, and Emma Cleavley (SSSC), right. This game was postponed from finals night because Emma had sadly broken her ankle. The first frame saw Anne Marie take the honours, while the second saw Emma miss an important black to make it two-nil. The third game saw Emma, with some clinical potting, getting close to winning, but not close enough, as Ann Marie played a very astute game with some steady finishing and good safety play. This was Anne Marie's second title, while it was Emma's first final, but maybe not her last.
