Parking and anti-social behaviour have been deemed the two priorities to address in Narberth this month.

At the Narberth Police and Communities Together meeting, residents were informed that police patrols had continued in the Narberth Castle grounds.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team had found no evidence or received reports of any anti-social behaviour taking place.

One member at the meeting raised concerns regarding rubbish on the platform and railway line at Narberth station.

It was believed this was probably left by revellers leaving the carnival over the weekend concerned, as some of the rubbish was fancy dress items.

However, the meeting agreed the police should monitor this area to ensure it was not a trend starting up by regular weekend visitors to Narberth town and to deter anti-social behaviour.

Residents also raised concerns that people continued to flout the parking restrictions in the town.

The team again pledged to tackle this issue over the next month.

The next Narberth PACT takes place on Tuesday, September 1, at 7 pm, at the Bloomfield Community Centre, Narberth.
