Plans are in the pipeline to convert Narberth's redundant Tabernacle UR Chapel into nursery and soft play area.

However, the town council has raised concerns in relation to the applicant's unrealistic parking facilities, given the number of children they would wish to attend.

Among other recent applications considered by the council's planning committee were the following:

White Lodge, Cold Blow - double garage (no objection).

6 Beechwood Place, Narberth - tree surgery (no objection).

Penfeider, Crinow - demolition of existing dwelling and erection of new dwelling and agricultural building (no objection).

Land at Victoria Close/Castle Terrace - erection of apartment building comprising eight units with integral garaging and car parking area (no objection).

Rushacre Farm, Redstone Road, Narberth - extension to provide a sun room (no objections).
