Winner of the Narberth People Award this year is Deputy Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers.

Clr. Mrs. Rogers, who is also chairman of Civic Week, was presented with the coveted shield by Mayor, Clr. Colin Williams, at Sunday's civic luncheon at Nant-y-Ffin Motel.

"Clr. Mrs. Rogers has done much to put Narberth on the map," said Clr. Williams. "You ask for something to be done and it is done," he added.
