Last month, Narberth Museum received a significant donation to its Restoration Fund from the Friends' Association.

Now it is appealing for support from the wider community.

"Invitations to donate will be going out in the next few weeks and we hope to raise £10,000 to add to the £586,500 already awarded by the Heritage Lottery Fund," said Pauline Griffiths curator at Narberth Museum.

"We need to show other funders that we have the backing of the local community.

"We hope that everyone who wants to see the Museum return to the town will give what they can. All the money raised will go towards the re-establishment of the Museum in the Bonded Stores," she added.
