The May monthly meeting of Narberth Ladies Probus Group was held at The Plas Hyfryd Country Hotel, Narberth. Members enjoyed a very interesting talk given by Pauline Griffiths, curator of Narberth Museum, about the life and times of James Williams illustrated with photographs and press cuttings. The speaker was thanked by Helene Davies. An outing to a National Trust property, Llanerchaeron Estate, is to be arranged for Wednesday, June 27. A speaker is planned for Friday, July 6, and a trip to Bath is planned for November. The next meeting is on Friday, June 1. Existing members come from a wide area of West Wales, including Ammanford, Haverfordwest and Carmarthen, as well as the more local areas such as Narberth, Whitland and St. Clears.
