A plan for a major residential development in Narberth was given the go-ahead by county planners last week.
The proposal for 46 dwellings at the Old Mart Ground in the town's Spring Gardens was approved at Pembrokeshire County Council's planning and rights of way committee meeting on Tuesday, despite objections from the town council and people living nearby.
The development for a mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced houses and bungalows with access from Spring Gardens will be subject to appropriate conditions and a legal agreement to secure funding of off-site recreation/play facilities in the town.
