Narberth High Street is one of six streets in Wales nominated in the Google Street View Awards 2011.
It has been shortlisted for Britain's Best Shopping Street, it was announced today (Friday).
Once a rural location, the town's High Street is now buzzing with upscale shops selling homeware, high fashion, art and craft. The town still remains faithful to its roots, though, with a variety of independent shops selling local produce.
This is the second year of the Google Street View Awards, a celebration of Britain's best-loved streets as voted for by the public in a global poll.
With the success of the inaugural Street View Awards last year, coupled with new research released today on Britain's use of Street View, it seems that Google's revolutionary tool is more popular than ever.
Shortlisted nominations for each of the award categories have been compiled by a panel of experts from the worlds of travel, lifestyle and popular culture.
Narberth High Streeet is one of six streets within Wales nominated across the categories. They will now battle it out against 54 other streets in a nationwide public vote.
