Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the launch of a fund- raising initiative for a tree-planting project to take place in and around Narberth over the summer and autumn. Local schoolchildren from Narberth and Templeton will be invited to participate in the planting of the trees when the scheme gets underway at the Big Plant Sale. The project will be officially launched by County Councillor Wynne Evans at Span Arts. Those involved in the fund-raising at the Big Plant Sale are members of Templeton YFC, Friends of the Earth and Span Arts.
