There are currently a number of housing estates in Narberth where the roads and other infrastructure have not been adopted by the county council. This has been due to a number of reasons, one of which County Councillor Wynne Evans says is that the developers have failed to put in suitable pavements. "This situation in some estates has been ongoing for many years and it is totally unacceptable," said Clr. Evans. "There are raised manhole covers, inadequate footpaths and uneven road surfaces and the developers should be held to account for their actions," he continued. "It is my intention to see if a process through the courts can get these matters resolved in the interests of all parties."
