Narberth’s carnival parade was ‘buzzing’ on Saturday with crowds of spectators enjoying the annual event.
The parade, featuring plenty of colourful characters and fun floats, was led by the South Wales Police Band.
Narberth Civic Week president Wyn Calvin joined the carnival queen and her attendants to take part in the parade.
“It was a great day,” said Clr. Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers, Civic Week chairman.
“We were as always lucky with the weather,” she continued.
“We were down on the gate due to clashes. Narberth Civic Week is always the last whole week of July and next year will be July 22-28.
“Narberth Rugby Club is the best venue for the carnival and working with the club we hope to make next year even better.”
