Narberth-based singer-songwriter Caroline Harrison releases her second single 'Like A Picture Tells a Story' this month, after recently being featured on BBC Radio Wales as the station's 'Welsh Artist of the Week'. Caroline's debut single 'Beyond the Darkened Sky' was released last year and immediately attracted strong interest from the industry and secured plays on national and regional stations, including BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Wales and 70 other regional stations, which all playlisted the single. Caroline was born in Kent, but a family move to Pembrokeshire in 1997 went on to help shape and inspire what looks to be a very promising career in music. Caroline's music has been described as nostalgic acoustic/pop and likened to that of the music she grew up listening to, including Mama Cass, Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield and Fleetwood Mac, to name just a few. She has recently been a support act on sell-out shows, opening for Charlotte Church, Jodie Marie and an eight day tour across Germany supporting Livingston. Caroline also supported Texas at their recent Smooth Radio concert in London and continues to gain support across the UK and Europe and, following a recent acoustic tour across the UK, which included a date at The Bay Tree in Tenby, she will next perform tomorrow (Saturday) at the Smooth Radio Live event at The Waterfront in Liverpool.
