The Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland were recently very honoured to be asked to host a dinner for the annual visit of the new president of Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland, (RIBI), to the western half of Rotary District 1150, South Wales.

This year it is Rtn. John Minhinick, who travelled to Pembrokeshire to address 90 Rotarians and guests at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel in Narberth. The audience represented every Rotary Club in Pembrokeshire, as well as many others in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and beyond.

John gave an inspiring address covering topics of note to Rotarians at present, which was very well received by those present.

After his address, John Sleigh, president of the Narberth and Whitland Club, presented him with a club banner, which was reciprocated by John Minhinick presenting a RIBI banner to the Narberth and Whitland club.

During the evening, the Narberth and Whitland Club's latest recruit, Sue Davey, had the distinct honour of being inducted into the Rotary movement by the national president.
