The big match in the A League saw the Dragon A doing the double over Kilgetty RAOB A with a close 5-4 win, just about deserving the match after taking a 4-1 lead. The Kilgetty side are still looking good for the top spot, but still need to pull out a couple of wins to make sure.
The Dingle stayed in third by the skin of their teeth, gaining a last frame win again, this time down at the Jeff A. The Station House A pulled off another win to keep the league tight for a close finish. The Hean remain bottom after a close defeat at the hands of the Temple Bar A, while the Stanley B look in trouble as they lost heavily at home to the Narberth RAOB A's. The SSSC A's outside chance of getting near the top was helped with a home win over the Bush Robeston, while the local derby saw Lawrenny take the points with a close win over Cresselly.
The B League is now even tighter than usual as two matches were re-arranged this week. Whitland Dairies now move to the top after a big win at Kilgetty RAOB B and a home win over the Wisemans Bridge. The Iron Duke also scored big twice, gaining two 8-1 wins at home to the Jeff B and away at the Temple Bar B. The Narberth RAOB B now move back to second place on frame points, even though they won well against the Wisemans. There were 6-3 away wins for the Cross Clarbeston at the Bush Llan, and the Angel Llan at the Eagle. While there was a mixed night for the SSSC sides, with the C team winning well over the Jeff B, while the B team somehow threw away a 4-0 lead at the KSSC, but then what a comeback for the bottom-placed team.
The C League sees the White Horse A one more win away from taking the honours of champions after their win at the RFC. The Station House B remain second as they notched up a 7-2 at the Greenbridge B, while Whitland Bowls recorded the same at home to the Stanley A. The Alpha A scored big against Begelly Arms, while the Alpha B's good run came to an end at the White Horse B. The other results saw the Sporting Chance back to winning ways at the Taf, while the Cross Broadmoor beat the Dragon B.
This Sunday sees the last eight of the doubles take place.
