With still eight matches to go, Kilgetty RAOB A took important points off the Dingle last week to see them go four points clear at the top, while the remaining chasing teams all won to put the pressure on the top two. The Dragon A remain third after a less than convincing win at the Stanley B, while the SSSC A had to win their last two doubles to sneak a win at Lawrenny. The Greenbridge A picked up a home win against the Temple Bar A, while the Station House A pulled off a good away win at the Jeff A. The RAOB A took an early 5-0 lead against the Bush to get back on winning ways, while the Hean saw their 12 matches without a win come to an end after a win at Cresselly.
Not a lot happened in the B League as some matches were postponed due to the bad weather (which never came). Which gave Kilgetty RAOB B the chance to move into second spot after their big win over the Eagle. The Cross Clarbeston came away from the Angel Llan with a fine away win, the KSSC just lost out on the last doubles against the Bush Llan, while the SSSC C surprised their B team after emerging winners.
There were a couple of shocks in the C League, with top of the table White Horse A losing only their second match of the season against improving Sporting Chance, while the Station House B also suffered a bad defeat at home to the Stanley B boys. Whitland Bowls seized the chance to catch up after a close away win at the White Horse B. The other result saw the Dragon B pick the points up against the bottom team Begelly Arms.
This Sunday sees the last 16 of the singles taking place at the Dingle, Narberth RAOB, Dragon and Temple Bar.
