in for the Kilgetty RAOB A sees them go four points clear at the top of the A League, after the Dragon A once again had a bad away day, losing this time to the still much-fancied Station House A. The Dingle closed the gap after their win over the Temple Bar A and are looking good with a match in hand. Two teams near the top both lost, the SSSC A losing at the Jeff A, while the Greenbridge A didn't get any joy from a stronger than usual RAOB A side.
The Bush Robeston made the long journey to Lawrenny worthwhile, coming back with a close win, while the two bottom teams slugged out a 5-4, with the victors being the Stanley B over the Hean to send the Saundersfoot side to the foot of the table.
The B League saw the RAOB B looking comfortable at 4-1 at the Eagle, but only just managed to win on the last doubles, while the Whitland Dairies, who won by the same score, managed to win it in the singles The Iron Duke moved into second spot after their local derby win over the Angel Llan. Other results saw the Temple Bar lose at home to the Bush Llan after leading 4-2. The SSSC B got back to winning ways at home to the Jeff B, while the Wisemans picked up a win over the KSSC (Captains Table).
The C League saw the White Horse teams meet each other and it was déjà vu as the A team took the win. Big shocks saw the second place team Station House B lose away at the Dragon B, giving the Whitland Bowls the chance to catch up, which they did with a good away win at the Cross Broadmoor. The Alpha A relied on their doubles to pull off an important win at the Taf. There was a big win for the Alpha B at Begelly Arms and a close win for the Sporting Chance against the Stanley A.
NB: This Sunday sees the last 32 of the Doubles Knockout.
