The gypsy site at Catshole Quarry in Monkton, Pembroke, has officially changed its name to Castle Quarry.
Pembrokeshire County Council which owns and manages the site - one of five such residential sites in the county - has already contacted the Royal Mail which has amended its database accordingly.
Said the local county councillor, Mrs. Pearl Llewellyn: "Both myself and James Roach-John, Monkton Communities First, visited the site and spoke to the residents and the majority were in favour of the name change.
