Following their rapturous reception at Swingamajig, the Rin Tins come to Manorbier to warm up for their Glastonbury debut. This Bristol-based sextet is delighting festival goers up and down the county with its energetic brand of folk fuelled gipsy jazz - music you can get up and dance to, or simply sit back, relax and enjoy.
On Spring Bank Holiday Monday, May 30, they will be swinging into Manorbier Castle to warm up for Glastonbury and the rest of the summer festival season. The Rin Tins will be supported by Tiger Boy, a popular rhythm and blues duo who perform regularly with leading folk bands throughout West Wales.
This will be a musical extravaganza not to be missed. Castle gates open at 6.30 and the event starts at 7.30 pm. Burgers and hot dogs, tea and cakes and a licensed bar will be available.
This is an outdoor event for all the family. If you just want to jig that’s fine, but otherwise bring your own chairs and a blanket. Tickets are available on the door - adults £6, children £3, families £15.
The event is organised by the Rotary Club of Pembroke and all the profits will be donated to the Pembrokeshire Cancer Support Group and to local charities. The club would like to thank Dame Emily Naper for once again loaning her castle which provides such a magnificent setting for the event.
