Great news for all enthusiastic local musicians is that Texaco are to sponsor a Pembrokeshire Music Showcase pavilion at next month's County Agricultural Show at Withybush, near Haverfordwest.
Between 11 am and 4.30 pm on each of the three days of this major county attraction, individuals and groups will have a splendid opportunity to display their musical talents before a seated audience of up to 500.
This latest innovation follows something of an experimental run featured at the 2000 event when the compere was Mr. Brian Harries.
This year there are to be a series of comperes over the period of the show -Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, August 13, 14 and 15 - and a comprehensive programme is currently being put together by Mrs. Shirley Williams (01437 710239) and Mr. Declan Connolly (01834 861408).
