Simple Faith are a gospel music trio from Belfast, who won the Group of the Year award at the Northern Ireland Gospel Music Awards in 2014. At the same time, they also won the Southern Gospel Album of the Year award, and their song He Can and He Will was voted Best Original Gospel Song of the Year.

The group tours extensively around their native Ireland and the UK, and earlier this year they toured in the US. They also look forward to going to Nigeria in December. Everywhere they go, they receive an accolade of praise for their music and ministry. They have released eight CDs of gospel music over the years.

A few of the group members have come and gone since they started in 2004. At present, Paul Cairns is the baritone lead singer, Jonathan Welsh sings bass, and Dustin Black is the newest member from America who sings tenor.

Their style of music is southern gospel, with a mix of old and new songs, inspired by groups like the Gaither Vocal Band, the Hoppers, and Ernie Haase and Signature Sound. They have a full-time ministry, and their motto is ‘Spreading the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in song, testimony and Word.’ Their music and message have impacted many people wherever they go.

The concert on Friday evening, October 20, at Emmanuel Gospel Church, Manorbier, is entirely free of charge. All proceeds from the coffee morning on Saturday, October 21, will go to the Save our Skrinkle Park fund in Manorbier. Please come along and enjoy these musical events with a group who are among the best in their genre. It is advisable to come early on Friday evening, as it is expected the venue will fill up quickly.
