A superb singer, she also performs in a duo with Eliza Carthy which has produced three acclaimed CDs.
James is a member of one of Australia's foremost traditional music families. He is a specialist player of the Irish flat-backed bouzouki and a fine singer. "Nancy and James are one of the top duos on the folk circuit, as can be seen by the fact that they are up there alongside Show of Hands and Brass Monkey on the Cheltenham programme," said chapel trustee Keith Johnson. "It is quite a coup for us to have them at Burnett's Hill and I'm sure it will be another sell-out."
The concert starts at 7.30 pm and tickets are available from the Pembroke Bookshop.
