Museum volunteer Doug Perry celebrated his 80th birthday with a surprise party given by his friends and colleagues at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery on Friday. Doug, a poplar and well-known local figure, has been a volunteer at the museum for 18 years, during which time he has skilfully undertaken a variety of tasks, including screenprinting workshops, the design and construction of various exhibitions and displays, the mounting and framing of pictures and the mounting of numerous art exhibitions. His contribution to the museum is invaluable and it is hoped that he continues to provide his expertise for years to come.
