The Friends of Tenby Museum and Art Gallery will be holding their largest fund-raising event of the year next Saturday, November 22, when they stage their Christmas Craft and Gift Fayre, at the De Valence Pavilion.

Last year, this Christmas spectacular proved extremely successful, with over £600 being raised, and the organisers have been working hard to ensure that next weekend's event is just as popular.

This year's fayre will be open from 11 am to 4 pm.

There will be a wide selection of gifts and crafts, from all over the county and beyond, for sale on over 40 stalls.

The organisers are delighted that many stall holders from last year will be returning, along with a selection of crafts by exhibitors new to Tenby.

Among the stall holders will be those specialising in pottery, wood turning, rag dolls, jewellery, canvas craft, knitting, sewing, Christmas cakes, home-made soaps and shell-work as well as hand-made cards, paintings in various mediums, photographs and other individual crafts and gift ware, many of which will have a Christmas theme.

In addition, many of the stalls will have collectible items, while Ken Daniels will also be exhibiting his acclaimed postcard collection.

There will be a display of photographs taken, at the museum, during the visit of the Prince of Wales, and also during their 125th anniversary celebrations.

There will be refreshments available throughout the day in the De Valence Cafe.

All in all, the event promises to be a great day out for all the family, so why not pop along; there is guaranteed to be plenty on offer and you are bound to pick up some super Christmas presents and at the same time, support a worthwhile cause.

There is no charge for entry, but it is hoped that all those who attend will support the bumper raffle being organised, with gifts donated by local businesses and individuals.

Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is a registered charity and independent museum and relies on admission fees, shop sales and funds raised by its Friends Association for financial support.
