IF you have mannequin hanging around in your cellar, or a display case gathering dust in the garage, then the Pembroke Dock Museum Trust wants to hear from you!
The Trust, which is soon to take over the running of the town's Victorian Gun Tower Museum, is appealing for the loan or donation of mannequins and cases.
The mannequins are needed to show various military uniforms while the cases will be used to display artefacts and photographs, many of them relating to the three Armed Services and their connections with the town.
Trust chairman, Martin Cavaney, said: "We are completing the legal process which will allow us to take on a lease of the building from the owners, Pembrokeshire County Council, and plan to be open as a visitor attraction in time for the main holiday season.
"We intend to add to the exhibits already on view in the Gun Tower and need mannequins and display cases urgently. If anyone can lend or donate such items, or give us any leads on where they might be obtained, we shall be very grateful."
The Trust can be contacted through Martin Cavaney on (01646) 622213 or John Evans on (01646) 683041.
