FRIENDS and colleagues of the late Mr. Kenneth Lee attended a celebration of his memory at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday.
Mr. Lee was for many years a trustee of the museum and later an honorary life-vice president. Significantly he was also a leading figure in the formation of the Friends of the Museum who provide support for museum projects.
All those present had made donations totalling over £300 in memory of Mr. Lee and with the funds donated, the museum has purchased two extremely useful rare works of reference 'The Heraldic Visitations of Wales' by Lewys Dwnn, originally published in the 17th century.
Both volumes have been suitably inscribed to the memory of Ken Lee.
The event, held in the New Art Gallery, was organised by Mr. Lee's daughter, Mrs. Trisha Putwain and her family.
