Local drama company, Murder and Mayhem Inc., are helping Tenby Ladies Circle with their fund-raising for Ty Hafan by performing at a fund-raising dinner on July 21.

They will be performing 'For as long as you both shall live...', where the murder takes place at a wedding reception, the elderly bridegroom being the victim. The diners will have to establish who did the wicked deed. It might have been the gold-digging young bride, or the bitter ex-mistress, or the bride's boyfriend, or indeed any of the dodgy guests at the wedding.

Murder and Mayhem Inc. have successfully performed this mystery before, most notably at the St. Brides Hotel last New Year's Eve. Anybody who has seen it before might remember who the murderer was then, but apparently it won't help, because there have been some changes of characters, and the murderer has been changed too!

The venue for this event will hopefully be the beautiful wooded garden of the chairperson of Tenby Ladies Circle, Dilys Jenkinson. However, in case the weather turns out to be cool or wet, the Circlers have booked Llanteg Village Hall as an alternative.

Tickets, priced £10, will include an excellent hot and cold buffet, and are available from either Sarah (tel. 844411) or Dilys (831326). All proceeds will be going to support Ty Hafan, the hospice for terminally ill children and their families. So it is hoped to have a good turnout on the 21st, to support a worthy cause whilst having an entertaining evening.
