A GROUP of five mums and one dad, of children from Tenby Junior Community School, will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday, October 16, in aid of school funds.

Donning their trainers are Louise Brunsdon, Emma Thomas Jones, Wendy Diment and husband and wife duo, Andrea and Rob Drury. The group is of all different levels and speeds of running and the goal for all is to just get across that finish line!

Head teacher, Mrs. Jan Llewellyn, would like to purchase an electronic library system for the school at a cost of £1,000. Sponsorship so far stands at approximately £600.

The runners would like to take this opportunity to thank St. Mary's Church for allowing them free use of the minibus to get to the race, to all those who have sponsored them so far, Mrs. Sheila Holt who will be going along to collect donations by bucket on the day and also to Ms Woods for offering to drive the team. The runners are now very excited and they are wished luck with their challenge.
