Born in the front room of 33 Lewis Street, Pembroke Dock, Tony lived there for all of his 84 years.

Tony took his first job, whilst still at school, as a delivery boy for Mr. Morgan, The Borough Stores and was very proud of having a bike with a basket on the front. Tony then went to live in Southend with his mother, Rose’s sister, Elsie and it was here his love of the outdoors began. He worked in Priory Park and loved every minute of it. On returning to Pembroke Dock, Tony worked for many years at Brown’s Builders, mostly on Castlemartin Range. Prior to his retirement, he was a storeman for British Gas.

Tony’s life revolved around his family and many friends. Everyone that knew him, will remember him walking for miles with his beloved dog, Bess.

Tony loved finding a bargain and had a keen eye – knowing exactly what everybody liked.

Tony passed away peacefully at Withybush Hospital on January 15, 2022, aged 84 years. He will be missed so very much and has left a huge void in the lives of his family, as he truly had a heart of gold.
