AFTER 11 years, Mid Wales Opera has established itself as one of the foremost British Festival and Touring Opera companies. Recipient of awards from the prestigious Prudential Opera Awards for 'excellence, creativity, innovation and accessibility', Mid Wales Opera's productions have now been performed in over 70 venues throughout Great Britain.
In Cosi Fan Tutte, arguably Mozart's most controversial opera, comedy and deeper undertones are delicately balanced in his subtle study of the gradual dismantling of the illusions and ideals of young love. The sharply contrasted characters are painted with some of his most sublime and elegant music, in an unending flow of beautiful ensembles and arias.
