On Sunday, Graham Morse took part in the Remembrance Day Cenotaph Parade in London.
Graham, a former pupil at Greenhill School and former member of 1284 (ATC) Sqn Tenby, marched, with colleagues, as part of the Harrier Force Association (HFA).
It is the first time that the HFA have been represented at the Remembrance Day Parade, with some 70 members marching to remember, not only departed friends, but those that gave their life.
A wreath was laid on behalf of the HFA.
Graham found the experience both very moving and humbling, but, despite the occasion, military banter was on hand.
“Having the Royal Navy veterans sing the Dambuster Theme as we marched past them, raised a smile,” he said. “But I’ll not forget the respect shown to such as the Chelsea Pensioners, the wounded veterans and each other. It was overwhelming.”
Graham served in the RAF from 1982-2004. He currently works at BA Engineering and campaigns to raise awareness of Parental Alienation Syndrome.
