A 26-year-old motorcyclist was tragically killed in a road accident in South Pembrokeshire on Sunday evening. Simon Barrett from Milford Haven died following a collision on the A4075 Canaston Bridge to Carew road. The accident occurred at 6.40 pm, approximately 300 yards the Carew side of Canaston Bowl. Two vehicles were involved, a Honda CBR 900 cc motorcycle, which Mr. Barrett was riding, and a Mercedes A180 car. The Mercedes had been travelling from Carew in the direction of Canaston Bridge, with the Honda motorcycle having travelled from Haverfordwest along the A40 before turning right onto the A4075. Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have witnessed the manner of driving of any of these vehicles prior to the collision, to contact PC659 Evans at Haverfordwest Police Station on 0845 3302000.
