On Sunday morning, motor vehicles/motorbikes of all ages will line up along the seafront of Gelliswick Bay in Milford Haven to take part in the annual Preseli Bluestone Run 2016 from Milford Haven to Narberth in aid of the BHF.

This event is just one of the four Pembrokeshire county motoring events that are organised by Rover and Morris Minor enthuasists, Jeff and Sian Edwards, of Milford Haven.

This 55-mile motoring tour will follow a route which will cross over the beautiful Preseli Hills of Stonehenge fame and after a brief stop at the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, the route will continue along the stunning Bluestone countryside, which will pass the ‘rock of boulders’ where it is believed that the Preseli Bluestone came from that was used in the building of Stonehenge.

With kind permission of the Pembrokeshire County Council, the run will end in the Townsmoor Park in Narberth, where the entrants will be greeted by the Mayor of Narberth.

All entries will arrive at Gelliswick Bay between 10 and 11 am, ready for the start of the run at 11.30 am, with the Pembrokeshire flag being lowered by the Mayor of Milford Haven and the vice-chairman of the Pembrokeshire County Council.

Entries will be accepted up to and on the day and due to this event being in aid of the British Heart Foundation, there is an entry fee of just £5, which can be paid on the day.

Please note - there will be a diversion between the Preseli Hills and the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm. Full details of this will be issued by Sian, along with the route at the control point adjacent to the Pembrokeshire Yacht Club at Gelliswick Bay.
