Tenby Under 9s rounded off a successful summer by winning their third tournament in a row on Saturday. Competing in the St. Clears Sevens, Tenby enjoyed a 1-0 win over Clarbeston Road, drew with Pennar Robins in the group stages, and topped their group with a convincing victory against St. Clears Dragons. In the semi-final, Tenby played some impressive passing football to sweep past Kidwelly 3-0 and secure a place in the final against the St. Clears A side. After going a goal up in the first half, Tenby started to tire in the final stages and St. Clears came close to an equaliser. However, the Seasiders showed great determination to cling onto their lead and win their third tournament in a row. With tournament victories in Pembrokeshire, Swansea and Carmarthenshire this summer, the Tenby Under 9s team has established itself as one of the leading young sides in West Wales.
