More speed restrictions are to be introduced on the A478 road into Narberth, it was revealed by Pembrokeshire County Council this week.

Following requests from the town council, an extension of the speed limit southwards on the A478 at Narberth and a 40 mph buffer zone from the 30 mph zone to the bend north of Allensbank are to be introduced.

The changes are supported by the police and have also been given the thumbs up by Narberth's county council representative, Clr. David Watkins.

"I know part of the proposals fall outside my ward, but I am sure that Clr. Davies, of Templeton, will also be delighted that these restrictions are going to be introduced," Clr. Watkins said.
