Sometime ago, the Evergreen Nomads purchased a mobility scooter and presented it to Tenby Health Centre in the knowledge that they would know who would benefit the most from the vehicle. After much thought and deliberation, it was decided by the doctors and staff at the Health Centre to pass the scooter on to Vanessa Mundell from Saundersfoot. Vanessa, who is disabled and has two dislocated hips and suffers with spinal trouble, was overjoyed to receive the scooter. It is understood that it will eventually give her a greater sense of independence. Happy motoring Vanessa. A donation from the Nomads was also made to young Kyraen Stocker, who lives in Milford Haven. Thirteen-year-old Kyraen suffers from multiple sclerosis and has great difficulty in movement. The money donated is to help towards the purchase of a hoist to enable his family to move him around more easily. "We here at the Nomads wish Kyraen and his devoted family all the very best," said a spokesman.
