Sir,
It is with dismay that I hear at very late notice about proposals from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Parks Authority to build a great number of homes both inside and around the current Saundersfoot boundaries.
As an elderly resident, the impact living around the Bevelin Hall estate and having to walk to the doctors can be difficult at times for me due to problems getting parked near the surgery.
I am being made aware that apparently the current doctors can take on another 2,000 names without a real issue. This is bound to increase the waiting lists and time it takes to book a doctor’s appointment.
Surely the current system is already stretched to its limit and without expanding the current surgery, the waiting times will get worse and make it even harder for the doctors to do their job properly, as I am sure they would like to.
