Monkton inflicted the heaviest defeat of the season on Tenby and for most of the boys the heaviest defeat of their junior careers. On this performance the Swifts look set to stay unbeaten for the remainder of the season and will surely be favourites to lift the league and cup double.
Ironically Tenby, sponsored by Tees-R-Us, didn't play badly and have played a lost worse and won, but they couldn't match the home side's support, off the ball running and finishing.
Three-nil down at half-time the Seasiders were still in the game and had they had a bit of luck with some of their chances the outcome would have been a lost closer.
In the second half, Monkton played superb football, but Tenby never gave up and managed two consolation goals through Liam Robson and Bruce Tasker.
However, the Swifts were truly worthy of their big win.
