Monkton Events Committee, supported by Monkton Communities First, held their sixth annual village fayre on Saturday, July 16, on The Village Green, Monkton. The fayre was a great success with over 250 people attending on the day.
Attractions included the Three Amigos, birds of prey display, Cleddau Community Church puppet show, tug of war, BTCV chain saw and equipment demonstrations, Pyxies circus workshops face painting and the final of Monkton's Got Talent.
Refreshments were provided by Maggie and Shelly from The Old Priory Community Café, while compere for the event was Neil Thomas.
Jodie Wallace won Monkton's Got Talent, with Chelsea Purser, Kristy, Caitlyn Seren, Elisha and Ashlee Callen, all coming runners-up.
The tug of war matches held on the day were too close to call so both teams declared victory!
