Urgent! PAVS (Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services) still has money available to support community projects that help improve the quality of life for current and future generations.
Through the Sustainable Pembrokeshire Small Grants Scheme, PAVS is looking to support projects that fall under the following themes:
o The place where we live,
o The people we live with,
o The way we communicate,
o The courage to innovate.
Some 131 groups and individuals have been supported so far, with projects including: community gardens; making areas of the Coastal Path accessible to all; creative workshops at festivals; and recording the history of communities. Grants of up to £1,000 are generally available, with pots of £3,000 available to projects taking place within Maenclochog, St. Dogmaels, Monkton, Pembroke Dock Llanion and Central.
