At Neyland, the visitors Carew batted first to total 222-4. Skipper Robert Hicks top scored on 74, another left-hander Gareth Lewis (48no) provided support, along with openers Ian Sefton (48) and Nick Scourfield (30).
A brilliant unbroken third wicket partnership of 201 for the third wicket between two highly-talented cricketers Nick Koomen (97no) and Scott John (90no) secured an eight wickets win for Neyland and the leadership of the Division One table.
Whitland (210 all out) slipped down the table to fourth spot after losing at Cresselly, who recovered from a mid innings wobble to win by five wickets on 214-5.
Paul Davies (34) and Iestyn Scourfield (32) had given the visitors an encouraging start, and the other early order batsmen made contributions to the total, but a lower order collapse resulted in Whitland failing to reach the 240 mark which had looked to be attainable. Stefan and Sion Jenkins each picked up three wickets.
The total was not enough against a strong Cresselly batting line-up as Andrew Harris (62) and Simon Cole (56) set the scene, finished off by an unbroken sixth wicket stand of 62 between Adam Chandler (37no) and Neilson Cole (20no)
Narberth (198-6) salvaged a draw at home to Haverfordwest (238-5) as 15-year-old Jordan Howell (62no) and Ben Hughes (36no) defied the Harfat bowling attack in an unbroken partnership for the seventh wicket of 95.
Kyle Quartermaine (40) and skipper Richard Adams (33) had scored runs earlier in the innings.
The Havefordwest innings was dominated by Simon Holliday who scored 144no for the visitors.
Saundersfoot reached 216-5 at home to Lawrenny after Ian Poole (67), Phil Jones (52no), James Caine (38no) and Nick Cope (36) each made decent scores.
Although Willie Morris (58no), Alistair Edwards (46) and Andrew Cole (47) made runs, Lawrenny settled for a draw on 182-8. David Parcell (3-31) was the pick of the bowlers.
Excellent batting by Peter Bradshaw (91no), Jonathan Pawlett (85) and Andrew Williams (31) gave St. Ishmaels a high-scoring total of 245-2
The visitors Herbrandston were bowled out for 126, with Leigh Marchant (45) the leading batsman as Andrew Palmer (4-10) proved difficult to play.
Whitland Seconds (176-7) drew at home to Llangwm (198 all out), with steady batting by Wayne Jones (38) and his colleagues. Andrew Harries (52) and James Venables (35) were the main run-getters for Llangwm.
Pembroke Dock were bowled out for 44 away to Haverfordwest Seconds, for whom James Morris, Phil Kirkby and Nigel Morgan each took three wickets. Haverfordwest Seconds won by 10 wickets and are top of the table in Division Two.
Cresselly Seconds won by eight wickets away to Stackpole (121 all out). Iwan Izzard (4-27 and 49no) had a match to remember and Neale Williams was also 49no.
Carew Seconds (171-2) won by eight wickets at home to Johnston (165 all out). Haydn Shapcott (76no) and Barry Evans (71) got most of the runs.
Narberth Seconds (120-2) won by five wickets at Lamphey (116 all out), with opener Mike Johns and Ceri Davies both undefeated on 47.
Crymych reached 283-5 after Elgan Vittle batted like a dream to score 113 with 22 fours and Dai Deaden (4-36) and Rob Couzens (4-34) took three wickets each in their second spells to bowl Fishguard out for 178.
Llechryd (163 all out) lost by just four runs at home to Carew Thirds (167-8), despite the efforts of John Curran (5-58 and 89). Russell Knox (50) and Chris Cole (44) played important roles for the Carew team.
Kilgetty (150 all out) won by 36 runs away against Johnston Seconds (114 all out) after skipper Anthony Bevan took 4-23. Two youngsters, Liam Cullen (27no) and Kyle Marsh (27), batted well for Kilgetty.
Pembroke were dismissed for 98 in reply to a total of 217-5 posted by the visitors Llanrhian. Jack Jones (89no) and Matthew Arundel (67) had the bulk of the runs for the visitors.
Cresselly Thirds (161-6) had runs away to Lawrenny Seconds (93 all out), with 14-year-old Harry Thomas (47) top scoring.
Skipper Steve Davies, Stephen Thomas and 14-year- old Edward James each took three wickets for the Cresselly team.
Luke Williams (104) and John Tysoe (81) were largely responsible for Hundleton scoring a mammoth 265-9 away to Llanrhian Seconds, who were bowled out for 75 as Riaan Strydom took 5-37.
Narberth Thirds (99 all out) lost by six wickets away to St. Florence (100-4), for whom Ashley Smith (39 and 4-46) had a good day.
St. Clears (144-6) made it two wins out of two as skipper Andrew Williams (44) led the run chase after the bowlers had restricted Herbrandston Seconds to 143-7. Sean Williams scored 53 for the visitors.
Good batting by Hefin Thomas (65no) and Geraint Jones (46) helped Whitland Thirds (176-5) win by five wickets away to Saundersfoot Seconds (173-5), despite the efforts of Sam Franklin (77) and Chris Hawkes (69no)
Paul Rogers, Nigel Phillips and David Jones each took three wickets for Pembroke Seconds (60-1) to set up a nine wickets win away to Fishguard Seconds (54 all out)
Pembroke Dock (100-0) won by 10 wickets at home to Lamphey Seconds (98 all out). Chris Boyett (53no) had runs for the Dock team after Andrew Wood (4-8) did some damage with the ball.
Most batsmen contributed to a Stackpole total of 170-9 away to Hundleton Seconds. An innings of 59 by Stephen Williams was instrumental in the Hundleton team securing a draw on 139-7
Crymych Seconds (76-1) won by nine wickets away to Burton Thirds (72 all out) after Marc Thomas, his brother Andrew and Charlie Howells each took three wickets to dismiss the Burton team.
